Senior Tax Advisor – Financial Services

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join its Financial Services Tax team in Portugal. You will provide expert advice on corporate income tax, stamp duty and other financial levies, helping clients manage risk and comply with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex Financial Services Tax matters, delivering innovative solutions.
• Focus on Corporate Income Tax, Stamp Duty and related financial levies.
• Support risk reduction initiatives across reputational, operational and financial dimensions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Management, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience; financial‑services tax exposure is a plus.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong accountability, self‑motivation and ability to travel as needed.
• Positive, inclusive attitude and a collaborative team mindset.
