Senior Staff Engineer – Analog Design

About the role

Synopsys is seeking an experienced analog design engineer to lead the development of high‑performance analog circuits for our next‑generation SerDes products. You will work in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable, high‑speed solutions for Ethernet, PCIe and related standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop medium to large‑complexity analog circuits for high‑speed SerDes supporting Ethernet and PCIe.
• Guide analog designers to meet electrical specifications and reliability constraints.
• Define project execution methods, plan analog design activities and set milestones.
• Conduct design reviews, track improvements and ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Evaluate and minimize parasitic effects in layout, working closely with layout teams to optimise performance, power and area.
• Validate silicon‑simulation correlation to guarantee design accuracy and robustness.
• Mentor and train less‑experienced analog designers.
• Collaborate with a global, multicultural R&D team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CMOS analog design and high‑speed SerDes circuits.
