Senior Software Engineer – Cloud RAN

About the role

You will join a new team in the MN RAN R&D BBSoC Unit, developing software that fulfills the Definition of Done for Cloud RAN applications. The position focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and supporting agile development activities while collaborating with the open‑source community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software implementation and integration for Cloud RAN solutions.
• Design system architecture and plan development tasks globally.
• Maintain platform, DevOps pipelines, and continuous integration environments.
• Conduct testing, QA, troubleshooting, and drive quality improvements.
• Optimize build times and lead internal knowledge‑sharing projects.
• Engage with open‑source communities to shape future Cloud RAN technology.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software development and testing experience.
• Strong expertise in C++, Golang, or Python.
• Experience with Linux environments and embedded systems.
• Hands‑on experience with NVIDIA CUDA and GPU‑accelerated computing (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD practices, and cloud runtime environments.
• Understanding of CNCF principles, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (RedHat, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of wireless protocols such as LTE and NR.
• Experience contributing to open‑source projects.
