Senior Python Developer – Creative Tech

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our Creative Tech team, designing and delivering innovative backend solutions that blend creativity with technology. The role involves building scalable, high‑quality applications for our clients across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy Python applications, modules and scripts following best practices.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers and system architects to implement robust backend functionality.
• Design, optimise and manage data models using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect applications with external services.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues and technical challenges.
• Write unit tests, participate in code reviews and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest Python technologies, libraries and frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python and at least one web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
• Certifications or proven experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Terraform.
• Strong expertise in containerisation with Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).
• Solid knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in Linux environments and Git source‑code management.
• Understanding of scalable application design and multi‑processing/threading in Python.
