Senior Project Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Universal Kraft group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead its renewable‑energy portfolio across wind, solar, waste‑to‑energy, water treatment and energy‑storage projects. You will own the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through delivery and close‑out, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution and completion of renewable‑energy projects.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery within scope, timeline and budget.
• Provide leadership and support to the internal Project Management team.
• Develop and implement project‑management tools, processes and internal structures.
• Maintain and track project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Report progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to secure timely delivery of services and components.
• Provide technical input and guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, legal and finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Analyse outcomes and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support early‑stage development of new projects with technical and feasibility insights.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing utility‑scale renewable‑energy projects (solar, wind or energy storage).
• Strong knowledge of renewable‑energy technologies and project‑management best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience.
• Decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
