Senior .NET Engineer – SaaS & Microservices

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join a world‑leading compliance intelligence company focused on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). The position is based in Lisbon and follows a hybrid model, with two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS solutions with emphasis on performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for microservices, distributed systems and cloud‑native applications.
• Build and enhance event‑driven platforms using modern messaging and streaming technologies.
• Promote engineering excellence through code quality, testing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate within Agile development teams throughout the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience with .NET and C#.
• Strong hands‑on experience designing and implementing microservices‑based architectures.
• Proven experience with event‑driven systems and messaging platforms.
• Solid understanding of relational and non‑relational databases and ability to choose appropriate solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and previous technical leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
