Senior Mold Design Engineer

About the role

Mazuli Smart Projects is seeking a Senior Mold Design Engineer to join its Oliveira de Azeméis office. You will work on international plastic product development projects, creating high‑quality injection molds and supporting the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete plastic injection mold designs from concept through manufacturing release.
• Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Siemens NX.
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Support tooling validation, modifications, and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plastic injection mold design.
• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes.
• Experience with automotive, consumer goods, or industrial products is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in international environments.
