Senior Mobile Developer (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

Fox IT is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join an international project. The role focuses on building high‑quality native and cross‑platform mobile applications while working fully remotely from any region in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications.
• Implement cross‑platform solutions using React Native, Flutter.NET MAUI or Xamarin.
• Apply clean architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) to ensure scalable code.
• Manage app deployment to App Store, Google Play and internal distribution channels.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and releases.
• Collaborate with Agile (Scrum) teams, participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Perform debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing to improve software quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile development with both native and hybrid frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter.NET MAUI or Xamarin.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with app store submission processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and fluent written and spoken English.
