Senior Knitwear Designer

About the role

PARFOIS is seeking a Senior Knitwear Designer to lead the creation of seasonal knitwear collections for its physical and online stores. The role blends creativity, technical expertise, and commercial insight to deliver innovative, customer‑focused products that strengthen the brand’s position in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Research global fashion, knitwear and lifestyle trends and translate them into commercially viable concepts.
• Develop seasonal knitwear collections, including mood boards, color palettes, yarn concepts and product proposals.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications covering yarn composition, stitches, gauges, construction details and fit requirements.
• Manage the full development cycle from concept through production approval, collaborating with Buying, Commercial, Production and Sourcing teams.
• Work directly with suppliers and factories to drive innovation, quality and technical development.
• Mentor junior designers and share knowledge to foster team growth.
• Monitor market performance and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product improvement and category growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing knitwear in a fast‑paced fashion environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of knitwear construction, yarns, stitches, gauges and knitting techniques.
• Proven ability to forecast trends and develop successful product collections.
• Excellent understanding of fashion markets and customer needs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense and proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel when required.
