Senior Java Software Engineer – Transport (Hybrid)

About the role

eDreams ODIGEO is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join its Transport area, working from Barcelona or Porto in a hybrid model. You will help power a platform that combines flights, trains and hotels, delivering billions of travel itineraries in real time to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve micro‑services for Flights Search, Booking and Post‑Booking domains.
• Support a platform that processes over 2.5 billion searches per month across 40+ countries.
• Collaborate with data‑engineering, machine‑learning and AI teams to improve recommendation accuracy.
• Maintain high‑quality code through continuous delivery, automated testing, and monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience building large‑scale Java applications.
• Strong understanding of micro‑service architecture and cloud‑native deployments.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and influence technical decisions.
