Senior Java Backend Engineer – Frontline Platform

About the role

TeamViewer is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to help evolve the Frontline platform, a solution that empowers industrial workers through real‑time assistance on smart glasses, mobile devices and tablets. You will design and deliver robust backend services that power mission‑critical workflows for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend services and APIs for the Frontline platform.
• Participate in architecture and system design to ensure reliability, scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend and cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern CI/CD practices.
• Engage in peer reviews, pair programming and technical discussions.
• Own your domain, deliver results with accountability and curiosity.
• Explore emerging technologies that can enhance platform capabilities.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development or senior‑level expertise in complex systems.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
