Senior Internal Auditor – General Audit

About the role

Continental is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its General Audit team. The role supports the company’s mission to create, protect and sustain value by delivering independent, risk‑based assurance and advice to the Executive Board and the Tire organization worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute entity, process and functional audits on‑site and remotely, conducting interviews and data analysis.
• Assess compliance with internal standards, policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
• Identify risks, propose process optimisations and monitor improvement initiatives.
• Lead audit teams or act as a team member, delivering clear findings and recommendations.
• Consult management on the development and enhancement of internal processes and structures.
• Participate in fraud investigations and follow‑up on remediation actions.
• Engage in project work within General Audit and collaborate with other central functions.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in internal audit or operational business.
• Extensive experience with SAP, preferably as a key user for specific modules.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management skills.
• Business‑fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30‑50 % of working time).
