Senior Fullstack Developer (React.js & Node.js) – Hybrid in Lisbon

About the role

We are seeking a senior fullstack developer to join KCS IT’s consulting team in Lisbon. The role involves building and maintaining web applications using React.js and Node.js within a microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack features using React.js and Node.js.
• Implement and evolve microservices‑based solutions.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with product and design teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Maintain code quality and version control using Git.
• Work effectively in a multicultural, hybrid environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 4–5 years of hands‑on experience as a full‑stack developer.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor others.
• Team‑oriented and able to solve problems in a multicultural setting.
