Senior Full Stack Developer - Health Tech

About the role

Abtrace is a health tech company based in London with a presence in Portugal, building clinical algorithms that support primary care clinicians. It works with more than 500 primary care practices in the UK covering 4.5 million patients. The company is looking for a mid/senior software developer to join its team in Porto, working in a fast-moving environment and communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues. The core of the role is designing, implementing and testing data-driven products and research projects in healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test the company's core products and frameworks
• Build, test and deploy applications on a cloud platform (preferably AWS)
• Work with a small, close-knit, diverse team of developers, data scientists and doctors

Required profile

• Full stack development skills (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python)
• Experience with healthcare data and APIs
• Ability to work well in a fast-moving team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people
