Senior Frontend Developer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our remote team in Portugal. You will work on cutting‑edge web applications, shaping the user experience and ensuring high‑quality code through modern testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features using React.js and Next.js.
• Write clean, testable code with a strong focus on vanilla JavaScript fundamentals.
• Implement unit, integration and TDD tests following Shift‑Left principles.
• Collaborate with product and design teams in Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Contribute to design‑system components and technical best‑practice guidelines.
• Optionally work with Azure Cloud services and observability tools such as New Relic.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong command of vanilla JavaScript, core language concepts, and testing methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js, Next.js, and agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Based in Portugal with EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
