Senior DevOps Engineer (All Genders)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join simplesurance’s technology team. You will help build and operate reliable, secure, and scalable cloud platforms that power our insurance solutions for partners across banking, automotive, e‑commerce and travel.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain observability solutions (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting) using Dynatrace to ensure system reliability and fast incident response.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure, networking and runtime environments across multiple cloud platforms in line with platform standards.
• Embed security best practices into infrastructure and delivery pipelines, including access control, secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to apply DevOps best practices, support incident response and continuously improve delivery workflows.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal platform capabilities and mission‑critical infrastructure components.

Required profile

• Strong expertise with Kubernetes in enterprise‑scale environments.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of deliverables and solve problems analytically.
• Collaborative mindset with solid stakeholder management skills.
• Security‑first attitude towards infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement.
