Senior Designer

About the role

Darkroom is seeking a Senior Designer who can blend brand storytelling with performance‑driven design. The ideal candidate asks smart questions, pushes creative thinking, and translates strategy into sharp visual solutions for a range of digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design digital assets for marketing initiatives such as paid ads, email & SMS, landing pages, organic social, and Amazon creative.
• Create and maintain design systems based on client brand guidelines to ensure consistency across channels.
• Communicate directly with clients, present concepts, lead workshops, and secure approvals.
• Develop a deep understanding of conversion drivers and apply best‑practice design principles.
• Collaborate with retention managers, developers, and other designers to deliver polished work.
• Design landing pages in Figma using UI/UX best practices and Darkroom’s web design standards.
• Work with project managers and developers to implement web design initiatives and updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of proven design experience, preferably in an agency or design studio.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, visual, marketing, and web design work.
• Deep knowledge of design principles including layout, hierarchy, color theory, typography, and composition.
• Ability to lead client calls, facilitate workshops, and manage client relationships.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of projects.
