Senior Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (French Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform to design and operate scalable data solutions for our clients. The role is based in Porto and requires fluency in English and French.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow/Beam, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Build and optimise data models and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
• Implement workflow orchestration using Cloud Composer/Airflow and manage version control with Git.
• Apply data testing and validation practices to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level).
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and deliver high‑quality results.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform – BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Beam, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer.
• Python programming.
• SQL for data manipulation and modelling.
• Airflow/Cloud Composer workflow orchestration.
• Git for source control.
• Data testing and validation techniques.
