Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Display Services

About the role

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join its Display Services team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role focuses on developing, integrating, and verifying display applications for the Next Generation Avionics platform, supporting the Anthem project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify core display applications for the Next Generation Avionics platform.
• Design and develop advanced hardware, software, and network components for avionics systems.
• Lead complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance with certification standards such as DO-178B/C and ARP-4754.
• Implement security measures and compliance standards to protect systems and data.
• Deploy, configure, and test systems on laboratory test benches, performing verification and validation activities.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
• Travel up to 10% as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, mathematics).
• 8+ years of systems engineering or project leadership experience in avionics, flight management, or flight guidance.
• 5+ years of experience with systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of experience with advanced systems engineering technologies and project management tools.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
