Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead all accounting functions and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes. Reporting directly to the Controller and CFO, this role combines technical expertise with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review general ledger, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and equity statements.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual close processes meet tight deadlines.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, handling performance and personnel issues.
• Collaborate with finance partners to gather, verify and record transaction data.
• Analyze revenue, expense, cash and balance‑sheet trends; explain variances to budget.
• Support the Sr. Accounting Manager in audit preparation and special projects.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and tax‑related queries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of financial reporting and general‑ledger structures.
• Proven experience supervising accounting teams.
• Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and variances.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑department collaboration.
