Security Operations Manager

About the role

The Security Operations Manager leads Unit4’s global security operations team, protecting the company’s IT estate and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. You will coordinate day‑to‑day security monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of the security posture across cloud, endpoint, and application environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Security Operations team.
• Define and execute the overall cyber security operations strategy.
• Design and mature operational processes, playbooks, and response frameworks.
• Oversee 24/7 monitoring, triage, and response to security alerts and incidents.
• Manage and tune SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat‑intel platforms.
• Lead major incident investigations and coordinate cross‑functional remediation.
• Run vulnerability scanning, prioritize findings, and govern remediation.
• Track emerging threats, CVEs, 0‑days, and global security trends.
• Ensure timely mitigation across cloud, endpoints, and applications.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of security technologies and operational processes.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and endpoint security (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
• Proven experience in incident response and managing security teams.
• Analytical mindset with solid decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and CVEs.
