Security Engineer – SecOps Application & Cloud

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking financial services technology team building the bank of tomorrow. As a Security Engineer you will work closely with engineering, infrastructure and other technology teams to improve the organisation’s security posture across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design production‑grade application security solutions and conduct architecture and design reviews.
• Perform threat modelling, vulnerability assessments and security testing.
• Review code, data privacy and financial regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, including design and code reviews, mentoring and education.
• Evaluate and develop security tooling and innovative approaches to emerging threats.

Required profile

• Strong security engineering experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in coding with Python, Go or Java for automating and integrating security tools.
• Experience in a DevOps environment and with web application penetration testing.
• Good knowledge of cloud and container technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and Docker.
