Search Language Specialist (Vietnamese) - Lisbon

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a Search Language Specialist (SLS) for a confidential localization/software-testing project in Lisbon, carried out by the largest quality assurance company in the world in partnership with one of the world's largest tech providers. The project focuses on internationalizing widely used products so that computer systems interact with users in a natural way across all languages and cultures. Work is split between language tasks and technical tasks, within an agile environment, and an extensive training period is provided.

Required profile

• Native-level Vietnamese and high/native English (minimum C1)
• Already based in Lisbon
• Preferred: experience in linguistics, translation or linguistic mediation

Required skills

• IT skills such as quality assurance, technical support, software engineering, computational linguistics, technical pre/post-sales, data analysis or testing and localization
• Strong communication skills, empathy, customer orientation and a positive attitude
