Salesforce Architect

About the role

Join Cronos Europa Portugal’s Lisbon delivery centre as a Salesforce Architect supporting a global automotive leader. You will define and govern the Salesforce Service Cloud architecture that powers customer service across multiple markets and languages, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architectural framework for Salesforce Service Cloud solutions.
• Design scalable customer‑service and case‑management solutions for a multinational organisation.
• Create and govern enterprise‑level Salesforce data models.
• Define integration patterns between Salesforce and external platforms, including contact‑centre and enterprise data services.
• Establish platform governance standards, release‑management processes, and technical guidelines.
• Ensure consistency across markets and prevent platform fragmentation.
• Act as the design authority for Salesforce delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and fellow architects to align solutions with the target architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including at least 3 years in an architect role.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and initiative‑driving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in international, Agile environments; fluency in English required.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and case management.
• Enterprise‑scale Salesforce data modelling.
• Integration architecture using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, event‑driven patterns and middleware solutions.
• Platform governance and design‑standard enforcement.
• Multi‑market Salesforce implementation experience.
• Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, CTA) – strong asset.
• Familiarity with contact‑centre platforms such as Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect or NICE – a plus.
