Sales Specialist – Merchant Solutions (Europe)

About the role

The Sales Specialist will support the commercialization and growth of Mastercard’s Merchant Solutions portfolio across Europe. Working closely with Sales Directors, the role develops opportunities, prepares customer proposals and coordinates internal teams throughout the sales cycle. It also collaborates with sales teams, account managers, product groups and regional stakeholders to deliver tailored value propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and progress Merchant Solutions opportunities together with sales teams and account managers.
• Create customer presentations, business cases, proposals and other sales collateral.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops and solution discussions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Mastercard’s Merchant Solutions portfolio and industry trends.
• Translate customer needs into solution‑based recommendations and value propositions.
• Coordinate with product, pricing, legal, finance, customer success and implementation teams to advance deals.
• Support pipeline management, forecasting and sales reporting activities.
