Sales Rep - Medicare Authorized Representative

About the role

The Medicare Authorized Representative will promote Triple‑S managed‑care products to individuals eligible for Medicare. This role focuses on growing membership through face‑to‑face enrollment meetings, community outreach, and education sessions for both existing and potential members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory to promote and sell Triple‑S Medicare Advantage and related products.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
• Conduct daily in‑home visit reports and submit production metrics to the Sales Coordinator and Supervisor.
• Ensure member applications are complete, accurate, and meet enrollment eligibility criteria.
• Follow up with current members to assess satisfaction and address concerns.
• Communicate benefits and enrollment information clearly, especially to members with physical or mental disabilities.
• Submit completed applications within required timeframes and maintain administrative paperwork.
• Identify and engage social service agencies and community groups to promote products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field (or associate degree with 3‑5 years experience).
• 1‑3 years of experience in health insurance sales or related field (or up to 5 years in lieu of degree).
• Ability to obtain a Health and Disability License (DOI) within the first 15 days of employment.
• Strong understanding of Medicare rules and CMS regulations.
