Sales Professional - Inside Sales

About the role

The Sales Professional – Inside Sales supports families by arranging at‑need cemetery services and promoting pre‑need planning. This position combines personalized client service with revenue generation for the cemetery, acting as the primary point of contact for families.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new families for at‑need and pre‑need arrangements, dedicating 1‑2 hours daily to lead generation.
• Obtain referrals from served families and build community relationships.
• Present service options, answer inquiries promptly, and maintain detailed activity tracking.
• Develop trust‑based relationships, educate families on the benefits of pre‑planning, and secure referrals.
• Collaborate with funeral directors, location managers, and cemetery staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Review past interactions to tailor current offers and share relevant family concerns with the team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1‑2 years of college coursework or comparable experience.
• 1‑2 years of customer‑service or sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to drive frequently.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain an insurance license where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and up to 12‑hour days.

Required skills
