About the role

The Sales Lead will be responsible for executing the sales plan for the assigned area, focusing on customer acquisition, loyalty, retention and satisfaction. Reporting to the Sales & Distribution Director and based in Maia, the role oversees the sales team, account managers and sub‑distributors to drive performance of the Novadis portfolio and maximise SCC sell‑out.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of the local market, identify trends, barriers and opportunities, and adapt business strategies.
  • Develop and implement prospecting strategies tailored to the regional competitive landscape.
  • Monitor key competitors and propose proactive measures to differentiate offerings.
  • Define, measure and track commercial objectives and sales targets by client, account manager and sales representative.
  • Ensure prospecting visits to relevant clients and oversee the prospecting plans of the team.
  • Implement SCC brand execution initiatives, material and visibility actions to increase turnover.
  • Monitor quality indicators for SCC products to ensure high consumer satisfaction.
  • Manage route planning, offline and online channel visits, and drive online channel usage.
  • Oversee sub‑distributors within the geographic area to maximise total revenue (Novadis + sub‑distributors).
  • Monitor sales activities, analyse results and propose improvement measures.

Required profile

  • Report directly to the Sales & Distribution Director.
  • Based in Maia, Portugal.
