Sales Development Representative – Portuguese Speaking (Porto)

About the role

Join a global technology and services leader as a Sales Development Representative in Porto. You will act as a sales agent for a world‑renowned insurance brand, focusing on understanding customer needs, following up on leads, and converting prospects into policyholders.

Key responsibilities

• Sell premium insurance products to existing and new customers.
• Engage customers, explain benefits, and address objections.
• Maintain a high level of persistence in lead follow‑up and conversion.
• Provide accurate information and support to ensure customer confidence.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Fluent Portuguese (written and spoken) and English at B2 level or higher.
• Previous experience in outbound sales, door‑to‑door, contact centre or BPO environments.
• Resilience to objections and ability to work in a target‑driven setting.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and rapport‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, empathetic and patient when addressing customer needs.
