Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Join the Express team as a Retail Sales Associate and help create a welcoming, stylish shopping experience for customers. You will work on the sales floor, assist with merchandising, and support store operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor, checkout, fitting rooms, and stock room.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately, reducing wait times.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolve issues, and communicate resolutions to management.
• Assist with product launches and merchandising changes according to SOPs.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs, explaining benefits and encouraging enrollment.
• Perform additional tasks such as stocking, folding merchandise, and cleaning as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 months in a retail setting.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and non‑business hours.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technology such as iPad and point‑of‑sale registers.
