Retail Operations Inventory Auditor & Controls

About the role

The Retail Operations Inventory Auditor & Controls ensures accurate reporting and control of store asset balances across locations in Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and beyond. You will travel to stores, conduct physical inventory counts, audit cash handling, and evaluate security measures to maintain compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inventory counts of serialized and non‑serialized equipment.
• Audit cash handling procedures and verify armored courier paperwork.
• Review security video systems to confirm proper operation and secure storage of assets.
• Analyze point‑of‑sale transaction samples for manual discounts, bill credits, and warranty exchanges.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, presenting findings and recommendations to operational management.
• Conduct special audits, including HR cases and PMO projects, and ensure adherence to company policies and the Customer First Philosophy.
• Perform data‑analytics procedures to detect trends, anomalies, and policy exceptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience in inventory auditing, retail operations, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of internal control procedures and compliance standards.
