Restaurant Server – Guest‑Focused Service

About the role

Join the Fairmont Vilamoura Algarve team as a Server, delivering attentive and friendly service to guests in a high‑volume dining environment. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with menu selections, providing detailed information on dishes, garnishes, and allergens.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
• Work behind the bar as needed, preparing and presenting beverages.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
• Handle shift‑end reports, reservations, and seating charts using iPad systems.
• Follow brand, safety, sanitation, grooming, and attendance policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a server in a high‑volume food and beverage operation.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and collaborate with team members.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using reservation and iPad seating‑chart systems.
