Restaurant Server – Guest Service Role

About the role

Join the dining team at a luxury resort transitioning to the Fairmont brand. As a Server you will deliver attentive, friendly service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide detailed information about menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the Point of Sale system.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Assist behind the bar as a bar server when required.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
• Handle shift end reports, reservations, and seating charts using iPad systems.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, grooming and brand service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a server in a high‑volume food and beverage operation.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure and collaborate with team members.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, including preparation and presentation.
• Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with reservation and seating chart iPad applications.
• Understanding of allergen information and menu composition.
