Restaurant Manager – Porto

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead the daily operations of BOA-BAO’s busy Porto location, ensuring every guest receives a memorable dining experience. This full‑time, on‑site position combines front‑of‑house leadership with close collaboration with the kitchen to maintain high standards of food, service and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate front‑of‑house staff, handling scheduling, training and performance coaching.
• Coordinate with kitchen teams to guarantee consistent food and beverage quality.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address complaints promptly and implement service improvements.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding and continuous staff development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Manage basic operational procedures such as inventory control and cash handling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, team members and leadership.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and calm under pressure.
