About the role

The Internal Logistics Manager will lead the internal logistics team at Bosch's Aveiro site, ensuring the smooth flow of materials to all production lines. This role is central to maintaining supply continuity, optimizing internal layouts, and supporting strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the internal logistics team responsible for material flows.
• Guarantee timely supply of components from internal production and warehouse to all lines according to defined standards.
• Define and implement logistics concepts such as supermarkets, line‑side supply models, and milk‑run distribution systems.
• Continuously optimise internal logistics layouts and material flows for higher efficiency and transparency.
• Coordinate cross‑functional operational changes with Production, Process Engineering and other value‑chain stakeholders.
• Support the development and rollout of scalable logistics solutions for strategic projects.
• Ensure correct configuration of logistics systems, including kanbans, regulator circuits and supply areas.
• Promote strong multi‑functional collaboration between Logistics, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Engineering.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost efficiency and delivery performance.
• Develop operational competencies through training, coaching and empowerment of logistics and support teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an internal logistics or material flow team in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work transversally with production, engineering and other stakeholders.
• Strong focus on process optimisation, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster multi‑functional collaboration.
