Reliability Test Engineer - Hydraulics

About the role

As a Reliability Test Engineer focusing on hydraulics, you will ensure the robustness and performance of hydraulic components through structured testing, failure analysis, and close collaboration with development teams. You will be involved in defining, executing, and continuously improving test procedures within a laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and continuously improve reliability test procedures for hydraulic components.
• Take ownership of test‑related problem solving and conduct in‑depth product failure analysis.
• Analyse test results, identify root causes and propose technical corrective actions.
• Prepare and present clear analytical reports to cross‑functional development teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to align testing activities with product development goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in technical product development or laboratory testing environments.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, thermodynamics and material science.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Results‑oriented, proactive and capable of structured problem solving.
• Team‑player with excellent communication abilities.
