Quality Technician I – Industrial Construction

About the role

KREAR, a joint venture between Grupo Casais and SECIL specialising in innovative industrial construction solutions, is looking for a Quality Technician I to join its team in Estarreja. The role covers quality monitoring, documentation and continuous improvement on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the construction management process, make the necessary records and collect data for reports and action plans
• Draft technical quality notes and quality management plans under ISO 9001 for the site
• Implement and collaborate in continuous improvement projects such as 5S, Six Sigma and Kaizen
• Train employees in quality tools and methodologies
• Monitor field work to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and document control
• Assist with inspections with foremen and subcontractors to guarantee work quality and acceptance criteria

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience
• 3 to 5 years of management experience
• Intermediate English and French
• Education level 3, 4 or 5 (technical or professional course)
• Certificate of Pedagogical Skills for Trainers

Required skills

• Specific training in quality systems / ISO 9001
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
