Quality Engineer – Workforce & Workload Planning

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support workforce and workload planning across three departments, aligning tasks with departmental needs while managing financial resources and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support workforce and workload planning for three departments, aligning tasks with departmental needs.
• Organise financial tasks and allocate resources effectively across the department.
• Maintain and optimise financial infrastructure such as folder structures, G‑Site, SQCDP‑Board and dashboards.
• Create financial reports, statistics and graphs and communicate the financial status to stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and develop guidelines to streamline workforce allocation processes.
• Collaborate with controlling, VSM, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective resource utilisation.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for departmental operations.
• Provide support for supply‑chain‑management activities and improve governance, infrastructure and operational processes.
• Ensure accurate time‑booking execution for all department employees and manage service‑level agreements.
• Prepare statements of work, support subcontracting management and drive improvement initiatives within the Quality department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting within a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and maintain detail‑oriented accuracy.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving skills and willingness to travel.
