Quality Control and Metrology Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control and Metrology Technician to ensure that both in‑house and subcontracted components meet dimensional and quality specifications. The role involves performing precise measurements, analysing data and supporting continuous improvement of our metrology processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional control of components produced internally or by subcontractors.
• Collect and analyse dimensional and quality control data.
• Carry out calibrations, tests and detailed inspections on measuring instruments and industrial equipment.
• Maintain and repair measuring instruments to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Verify product and process compliance with industry regulations and standards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in metrology and quality control.
• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Technological specialization course completed.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality control or metrology.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with quality standards and technical drawing interpretation.
