Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure our food products meet the highest safety and quality standards. You will work on‑site in Cacém, supporting the production team and guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in‑process production and finished goods.
• Document and register all quality checks in the Document Management System.
• Verify supplier compliance and monitor material quality.
• Prepare and support food certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and IFS Foods.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Higher education in Food Industry, Chemistry, Quality, Science or Laboratory Techniques.
• 1–2 years of experience in the food industry.
• Training or experience with HACCP, ISO 22000 and IFS Foods.
• Highly demanding, proactive, responsible and detail‑oriented.
