Quality Assurance Engineer – Hybrid, Lisbon

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a fast‑growing business‑banking and financial services project based in Lisbon. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain clear, concise test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Execute functional, regression, and API tests, reporting defects and tracking them to closure.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and Agile teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in test‑automation initiatives and continuously improve testing processes.
• Provide detailed test documentation and metrics to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA professional.
• Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize multiple tasks and travel abroad for short periods if needed.

Required skills

• Experience with JIRA‑XRAY for test management.
• API testing using Postman.
• SQL query writing and execution.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
