Quality Assistant

About the role

Delnext is looking for a Quality Assistant to ensure that all food products meet the highest safety and quality standards. You will work on‑site in Cacém (Sintra) supporting the production team and contributing to the company’s mission of fast, reliable transport solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
• Document and register all quality checks to maintain traceability.
• Verify compliance with regulatory standards and internal company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance and material compliance.
• Prepare documentation for food certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and IFS Foods.

Required profile

• Higher education in Food Industry, Chemistry, Quality, Science or Laboratory Techniques.
• 1‑2 years of experience in the food industry.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
• ISO 9001.
• ISO 22000.
• IFS Foods.
• Document Management System.
