QA/QC Regional Coordinator

About the role

The QA/QC Regional Coordinator will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control framework for all Operation & Maintenance activities across the company’s global renewable energy portfolio. This role ensures compliance with corporate standards, client contracts, regulatory requirements and industry best practices while supporting operational excellence and asset reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain O&M Quality Management Plans, procedures, work instructions and quality standards across the region.
• Elaborate and manage Inspect and Test Plans (ITP), checklists and quality protocols for all projects.
• Perform quality visits, audits, inspections and operational assessments to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate Non‑Conformance Reports, corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Analyse quality indicators, conduct trend analysis and support root‑cause investigations with O&M managers and technical teams.
• Maintain and control operational records, documentation and reporting in line with quality standards.
• Develop and deliver quality‑related training programs for O&M personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, Operations & Maintenance or Asset Management within renewable energy (Solar PV, BESS, Wind, etc.).
• Proven experience managing quality systems across multiple countries and leading regional O&M quality programs.
• Fluent English and a valid Category B driving licence with willingness to travel regularly across Spain.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS, ERP and Asset Management platforms.
• Quality Management certifications (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CQE) are desirable.
