QA / QC – Técnico de Calidad (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate QA/QC Technician to ensure the quality of our craft‑beer products throughout the production process. You will generate and analyse QC data, enforce SOPs and GMPs on the floor, and maintain the quality database that drives efficiency and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑process QC measurements: granulometry, pH, specific gravity, temperature, CO₂, O₂, microbiology, cell count/viability, PCR.
• Validate sanitisation using ATP luminometer on heat exchangers, fermenters, centrifuges, yeast brinks, BBT and filler.
• Conduct periodic sensory panels, shelf‑life testing and lot‑by‑lot witness sampling.
• Develop SOPs and lead continuous‑improvement projects.
• Set acceptance/rejection criteria for raw‑material receipt.
• Maintain the quality database, generate reports and track corrective actions (RCA).
• Manage laboratory inventory, consumables and yeast inoculation according to GMP.
• Own the yeast QC program: re‑inoculation/harvest data, viability and health checks (co‑ownership with Cellar Brewer).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science (Microbiology preferred).
• 1‑2 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in food or beverage production.
