Purchasing Quality Inspection Internship

About the role

This extracurricular internship supports Bosch's Purchasing Quality Inspection activities at the Aveiro site. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure that incoming parts meet the company’s quality standards and gain hands‑on experience with metrology equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the release of parts for the organization.
• Organise and maintain the samples warehouse.
• Coordinate measurement of parts using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Support the development and documentation of processes, flowcharts and work instructions.
• Measure supplier parts and learn to operate various metrology tools for functional and control tests.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology or a related field.
• Knowledge of technical drawings and ability to understand electromechanical concepts.
• Experience with measurement tools; CMM knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
