Purchasing Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch's Purchasing Quality Assurance team in Aveiro and help protect the quality of the Home Comfort production site. You will monitor supplier performance, manage quality incidents, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Claim Manager, leading end‑to‑end problem‑solving with suppliers for quality incidents.
• Provide operational support for containment actions and analyse part failures using structured methods.
• Manage cost reimbursement processes with suppliers.
• Collaborate with plant quality, production, and R&D teams during investigations.
• Serve as the primary quality interface between suppliers and the internal value stream.
• Support factory quality risk management and concession processes.
• Contribute to the Purchasing Quality Strategy and digitalisation of quality processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related).
• 1‑2 years of experience in a quality‑related role.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
