Purchasing Assistant – French Speaker

About the role

Airbus is looking for a French‑speaking Purchasing Assistant to support procurement activities across its European operations. You will work closely with internal customers and suppliers to ensure smooth ordering processes and contribute to the company’s sustainable aerospace mission.

Key responsibilities

• Review Purchase Requests (PRs) and create or update Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system.
• Follow up on PO status and resolve any issues that arise.
• Provide operational sourcing support through the Service Desk for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update catalogue and other procurement information records.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal buyers to ensure alignment.
• Utilise Airbus ERP (SAP) and the Coupa procurement platform for daily tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain or procurement is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, especially during emergencies.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to change.
