Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major renewable energy projects for a Tier‑1 construction organisation. Based in Lisbon, the role will oversee projects across the Netherlands, covering on‑shore and off‑shore wind, solar, battery storage, substations and related civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Own programme, budget, resources, risk and overall delivery performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, commercial, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, statutory authorities and key stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, constraints and opportunities, applying mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Conduct progress meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to mobilise and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management, budgeting and scheduling.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental best practices.
