Project Manager – Product Development, Heating Systems

About the role

We are looking for a project manager to achieve our growth ambitions for hot‑water storage tanks, aligned with our EMEA heat‑pump strategy. Operating at the intersection of R&D, purchasing and quality, you will lead supplier developments, secure high‑value partnerships and own the product lifecycle from concept to market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead OEM supplier development initiatives within our global Make & Buy strategy.
• Coordinate development of new strategic sourcing partners together with Purchasing and Quality.
• Ensure externally sourced solutions meet Bosch Home Comfort’s quality standards and integrate with the heat‑pump portfolio.
• Identify market trends, emerging technologies and new materials to drive innovation, feasibility and cost‑optimization projects.
• Take full ownership of the project lifecycle—from concept through production ramp‑up to market launch.
• Coordinate and inspire international, cross‑functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Quality and Product Management.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical/management field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience managing complex, international projects in the HVAC or heating‑systems sector.
• Strong background in Time‑to‑Market processes and product development life cycles.
• Fluency in English; German or another language is an advantage.
