Project Manager (Hybrid, Porto)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT delivery projects for a portfolio of clients. The role is based in Porto and follows a hybrid work model, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor software development projects from initiation to delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment with technical stakeholders and business objectives.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation, and optimisation of delivery pipelines.
• Manage risks, issues, and changes while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
• Report progress and results to senior management and client representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management or Delivery Management within IT environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in French (mandatory) and good English proficiency.
• Proven ability to work in complex, cross‑functional settings.

Required skills

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge.
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• DevOps concepts and tooling.
